The Northwest Tune-Up is a bike, beer and music festival held in celebration of PNW culture. This three-day event showcases the beauty of the region and everything it has to offer. Whether exploring world-class mountain bike singletrack, enjoying each evening’s lineup of live music on Bellingham’s waterfront or indulging in the best beers from across the Northwest, the Tune-Up has something for everyone.

The WMBC’s mission is to preserve and enhance bicycle trail access in Whatcom County through stewardship, education, and advocacy. We have been working directly with land managers since the organizations conception in 1986 to open up more trails and access points for mountain bikers and other trail users. Our history of advocacy is rich with successes and longstanding relationships that have resulted in the 118 miles of mountain biking trails you can find in Whatcom County.

COMBA got its start in 1991 when a group of mountain bikers decided to start repairing and improving the trails they rode nearly every day. Our volunteers and trail crew build and improve trails in the Central Front Range and our certified instructors educate local mountain bikers to help them get the most from the sport. Since 2016, COMBA has helped bring about exciting new bike-specific trails such as Little Scraggy, North Elk Creek, South Dakota Ridge, and Floyd Hill.

Pisgah Area SORBA is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization who has adopted over 100 miles of trail in the Pisgah Ranger District and surrounding area. Pisgah SORBA works to keep these trails clear and open while advocating to preserve and increase local mountain biking access. Over the last decade, they have contributed over $500,000 to the Pisgah Ranger District by managing and funding large trail construction and maintenance projects, with an additional average of $95,000 in volunteer hours each year.
