RockShox RS-1: 100mm Travel Option
The fork that makes a small travel bike feel fun again! With such a vivacious movement towards the bigger travel quiver killer machines, it was nice to go back to the old school XC style race bike. The inverted lowers are a clever design. RockShox does not claim to be the first to manufacture an inverted fork, but they are the first to succeed in making an inverted fork that is both XC World Cup light AND laterally stiff. Previous inverted forks have failed to make that connection before. Heavy and stiff or light and flexy were the previous two categories. RockShox just created a new category.
