The SMBC seeks to preserve, protect, and promote mountain bike access and diverse riding opportunities in Sedona and the surrounding areas.
SMBC was started by local mountain bikers and shop owners who realized that it was time to get all the local riders together and begin to work and speak as one group. Mountain bikers have been under represented as a user group nationally, and Sedona is no different. By working together we will be effective at protecting our privilege to use the trails and enhance the experience for visitors as well as locals.
SMBC is a non-profit educational association whose mission is to create, enhance and preserve great trail experiences for mountain bikers in the Sedona Area, and to create a bicycle friendly community through cycling awareness, safety advocacy and promotion of bicycling for fun, fitness and transportation.
