A photograph's meaning changes with time and is subject to the individual whims, opinions, and perspectives of each viewer—magazine editors included. In the pages of Freehub, images accompany stories to provide the show rather than the tell and to give context to the written word. Truly special photos stand alone and need no help in evoking emotions. To celebrate this rare breed of picture, we're introducing the "End of the Roll" series. It's a one-off, once-an-issue spot dedicated to highlighting the most unique single images sent to us by top photographers working in the mountain bike sphere.
