I recently re-rode Bishop Lake, in Michigan, and it was just as fast as I remembered it. They do a great job disposing of the leaves and trail debris, leaving a cross-country, single track wet dream. If you are close to the area, it is a fun place to ride in lower Michigan. If you don't mind a brief drive, head to Pontiac Lake or Poto for a longer and more aggresive day.

I hope you didnt leave without riding torn shirt as well. It's kinda unusual to be riding this late in the year with this kind of weather.  If you're in for a long ride try Island lake then take the back roads to Brighton rec for Bishop and torn shirt.
