Glenwood Springs, Colorado from Gear Exchange
words by Linden Carlson

The seemingly sleepy little towns of western Colorado have come onto the scene over the past couple years; they are now known for having prime single track hidden neatly away, just out of sight, tucked in the hills somewhere outside city limits. I mean, we are in the Rockies! Why wouldn’t there be great mountain biking scattered amongst all the other great mountain related activities? After all, that’s the point of living up here. If you have a lifestyle of playing your favorite game, then you tend to live where that game can be played. So here I am, living life on two wheels in Glenwood Springs.

ALTON, New Hampshire
Words & Photos Daniel Mutz

A few weeks ago, I was looking for another place to ride. Something new, single-trackie, closer to the shop and with “expansion potential” (because trail work is fun).

Since we opened, we’ve had some local customers mention a now extinct XC race series which used to be held at a local ski area, Gunstock Mountain Resort. This makes sense ‘cuz Gunstock is a popular local winter gathering for downhill and xc skiers. Worth the 10 minute ride over there to have a look around? Heck yeah.

Driggs, Idaho
Words by Micheal Woodruff

The sign reads, “The best of both states” as you come down Teton Pass from Jackson Hole into Victor, Idaho. Commonly referenced as, “Wydaho”, it truly is the best of both states!  Teton Valley, Idaho straddles the Idaho / Wyoming border with the Big Hole Mountains to the west, the Teton Range to the east and the Snake River range closing off the south. Needless to say, these all of these attributes found close to Driggs, Idaho make the mountain biking spectacular.

The trails are legendary: Boogieman, Neds, Pangor, Corkscrew and the showpiece of the North Shore, CBC. Mountain bikers from all over the world travel to Mount Seymour to ride these trails and to see how they measure up against the trails that they have no doubt studied by watching them in videos back home.
