Well, it’s the end of bike season for most people, and some are making that transition into ski and snowboard season. For us in the Northwest, ski season rings true, but…so does trail building season in preparation for the coming bike season. Due to the amount of rainfall in the Pacific Northwest, you need to have some really waterproof gear. The guys and girls at Pacific Outdoor Equipment decided to send us some of their heavy duty wet bags, including the Gobi and their Wet/Dry Duffel. We put these bags to the test of brutal abuse and water that is associated with an 8 hour day in the Northwest woods. Everything in the bags stayed dry, the spikes and tools didn’t puncture the 420D double coated Nylon fabric, and the bright orange color made hunters aware of our presence.
